Privacy Policy
Effective date: 14 May 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how beehavioral ("beehavioral", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit www.beehavioral.ai (the "Site") or otherwise interact with us. It is intended to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK Data Protection Act, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), and other applicable U.S. state privacy laws (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and similar comprehensive privacy statutes).
1. Who We Are
beehavioral is the controller of personal information processed in connection with this Site. For any privacy-related question or request, please write to privacy@beehavioral.ai.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of personal information:
- Information you provide. Email address, name, employer, or any content you send us when you contact us (e.g. via the email above or a future contact form).
- Information collected automatically. IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, referring URL, pages viewed, links clicked, and timestamps.
- Analytics data via Google Analytics 4. Page views, events, session duration, approximate location (from IP), device and browser characteristics, and a randomly generated client identifier stored in a first-party cookie. See Section 7 for details.
- Cookies and similar technologies. See Section 7 below.
We do not knowingly collect "special category" or "sensitive" personal information (such as racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, health data, sexual orientation, precise geolocation, or government identifiers) through the Site.
3. How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information for the following purposes:
- To operate, maintain, and secure the Site.
- To respond to your inquiries and communicate with you.
- To understand how the Site is used and to improve it.
- To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, and illegal activity.
- To comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, or exercise or defend legal claims.
4. Legal Bases for Processing (EU / UK / EEA Users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR:
- Legitimate interests — operating, securing, and improving the Site, and responding to inquiries you initiate.
- Consent — where required (for example, for non-essential cookies). You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing.
- Legal obligation — to comply with applicable laws and respond to lawful requests.
- Contract — where processing is necessary to perform a contract you've entered into with us or to take steps at your request prior to entering into one.
5. How We Share Personal Information
We do not sell personal information for money. We may share personal information with:
- Service providers / processors acting on our behalf (e.g. hosting and content delivery via Amazon Web Services, email providers, analytics providers). They are bound by contract to use the information only for the services they provide to us.
- Legal and safety — to comply with law, enforce our rights, or protect the safety of users or the public.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
For purposes of the CCPA/CPRA, we have not "sold" personal information in the preceding 12 months. To the extent any sharing with analytics or advertising providers could be considered "sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising" under the CPRA, you can opt out as described in Section 9.
6. International Data Transfers
We operate primarily from the United States and use service providers in the United States and other countries. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your personal information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries that may not provide the same level of data protection as your jurisdiction. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, and equivalent mechanisms.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The Site uses two categories of technologies in your browser:
- Strictly necessary. Session and security cookies set by our content delivery network (Amazon CloudFront) needed to deliver the page.
- Analytics. Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID
G-Q4SRDEP222) loads on every page. It sets first-party cookies (typically_gaand_ga_*) used to distinguish unique browsers, count visits and pageviews, derive approximate location from IP, and report aggregate session and engagement metrics. Data is processed by Google LLC; see Google's Privacy Policy and the Analytics data-handling page. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising and have not enabled the Advertising Features.
You can control cookies via your browser settings. To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or block analytics requests via a browser extension. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may break Site functionality.
8. Your Rights — EU / UK / EEA
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
- request deletion of your information;
- restrict or object to processing;
- request portability of information you provided to us;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
- lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise these rights, email privacy@beehavioral.ai. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.
9. Your Rights — California and Other U.S. States
If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to:
- Know — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, used, disclosed, or shared about you in the preceding 12 months.
- Delete — request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (we do not sell; if we share for cross-context behavioral advertising in the future, an opt-out will be available).
- Limit use of sensitive personal information — we do not collect sensitive personal information for purposes that require this right.
- Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other U.S. states with comparable laws have substantially similar rights and may also have the right to appeal a denial of a request.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@beehavioral.ai. You may use an authorized agent. We will respond within the time required by law.
10. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Server access logs are typically retained for no more than 90 days.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact privacy@beehavioral.ai and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Effective date" at the top of this page. Please review this page periodically.
